Fans of the American actors, Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors rejoice as they announce their engagements. They revealed this joyous news at the EBONY Power 100 Gala held on Sunday, November 17, 202, in Los Angeles.
The Gala celebrated black excellence and achievement, and one of the highlights was the two black American actors announcing their union despite everything they had been through, especially their Majors.
This revelation comes days after Good’s team denied rumours that the two had parted ways. The two started dating in May 2023, two months after Majors was arrested over an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
Despite his claims of innocence, Major was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment in December and was later sentenced to a 52-week in-person counseling program and was made to pay a $250 fine in April, according to NC news.
However, his legal troubles did not hindered him from finding love again, as his now-fiancée, Good stood by his side supporting him every step of the way.
Majors known for his roles in “Creed II,” “The Ant-Man and the Wasp,” and “Lovecraft Country” couldn’t stop gushing about his newly engaged fiancée.
He said;
“Meagan has been my rock, and I am thrilled to embark on this next chapter with her.”
Good, star of “Harlem” and “Think Like a Man” also couldn’t contain her love for Majors. She had so much to say;
“Jonathan’s unwavering support and love have been a blessing. We are excited for our future together.”
In an interview with E! News, she firmly asserted that he was “the one”, revealing that she was ready to spend the rest of her life by his side.
She said;
“I love his style, I just love how he puts it together.”
Speaking on an episode of Today she further shared;
“I take everyone’s opinion and advice into account, for sure, but at the end of the day, I’m the one who has to live my life,”
“I’m the one who has to get to Heaven one day, prayerfully, and give God an account of what I did. So, I want to be responsible for the choices that I make. I also want to live the life that I want to live.”
“The support we’ve been able to give to each other, the pouring into each other, the honest conversations, the love, the respect, just the care, and the thoughtfulness, it’s been really wonderful.”
