The final five nominees for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Player and Goalkeeper of the Year Awards include Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
Ademola will compete for the Player of the Year title alongside Simon Adingra of the Ivory Coast, Serhou Guirassy of Guinea, Achraf Hakimi of Morocco, and Ronwen Williams of South Africa.
Stanley Nwabali has been nominated for Goalkeeper of the Year, along with renowned players like as André Onana from Manchester United and Cameroon, Yahia Fofana from Angers SCO and Côte d’Ivoire, Ronwen Williams from Mamelodi Sundowns and South Africa, and Mostafa Shobeir from Al Ahly FC and Egypt.
Nigeria is vying for National Team of the Year against current African champions Ivory Coast, DR Congo, South Africa, and Sudan.
