Morocco will host the tournament, which will begin in December of next year. As the host nation, Morocco will automatically qualify for the competition.
Former champions Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, and title holders Côte d’Ivoire are among those who have qualified, having all performed well in the qualifiers.
Sudan and Benin secured their spots on the final day of qualification, heightening the tension.
